From the first moment that I heard about this flick I was interested… and then after I saw the first trailer a few months back I was completely stoked for it.

The plot : A young man (McAvoy) finds out his long lost father is an assassin. And when his father is murdered, the son is recruited into his father's old organization and trained by a man named Sloan (Freeman) to follow in his dad's footsteps. (Source: United International Pictures (Sdn))

Overall, Tembun says that this movie promises action in the marketing… and it delivers! There’s not just a lot of action… the action in the film is all top notch. Tembun fav scene, the train scene..not full out action scenes, but regular scenes with an element of action thrown in. It was all great, I loved it.

I just frigging LOVED this movie… much more than I was expecting. The action is terrific, McAvoy carries the film, Angelina Jolie is hot, seductive and pure deadly, it’s funny, great mythology and a good solid plot to boot. Overall I give Wanted a 7 out of 10

Way Too High Fever, Mama...

Today, I felt this sudden strong urge to stay at home with Mama. She could hardly get up from bed since last night.

I should have heeded my instincts. At about 9 am this morning, I noticed that my Mom was burning up. I took her temperature and she had a fever of 39.7º celcius. I then quickly rushed her to Rahman Putra Medical Centre. Due to her inconsistent body temperature... So in fear of dengue attack, I requested my mom's blood sample to be examined. Thank god the result were negative... Pheuuuuwww.... you scared the hell out of me laa Mama...

I am so glad she’s not weak anymore and that the fever has gone down. I’m usually NOT a fairly calm person when it comes to emergencies, because I believe in making sure that everything is ok and dealing with the important issues first, before crumbling into a heap. But looking at my Mama inconsistent fever yesterday, her being so pale and heating up so badly, I started to tear. It was torturous and I was so afraid, for a fleeting moment, that something's bada gonna happen. Argh. The drama of being TEMBUN.....

In honor of my mom's birthday, this ode created by her first-born...

Hi Mom. I just wanted to say, um, Happy Birthday. And thank you ... for literally everything.

Like for that time back in '78 when you went to the hospital and it was really painful, but you hung in there, and then when you came home, you were holding me in your arms.

Have I ever mentioned that I am eternally grateful for the approximately 12 tons of food you have given me over the years?

And thank you for the nice DNA. I really am enjoying it and promise never to monkey around with cloning or tissue regeneration.

Oh and while I think of it, thanks for the name... i have a beautiful name, mama...

And may I please express my enduring gratitude for teaching me to be polite. I don't know what you did, but I get a huge kick out of being extra polite to people. Thank you, my dear mother, for this and so many other simple gifts.

Thank you also for the way you took care of everything.

Cukur Jambul of Qistina Eisya...

Introducing.... Qistina Eisya, beloved daughter of Mama Maria & Papa Bulat...

Cukur Jambul -based on a lose translation from Wikipedia-courtesy of yours truly, Cukur Jambul is a Malay Traditional that rites 40 dates after the birth of a newborn.

This special ceremony is not done any earlier then the 40 days, because mummy would still be in confinement. Seriously, this is one of those events that i really like to cover. But the saddest part, is that I left my Nikon camera behind..tembun tembun....

I will be featuring my past collection. The following is some capture of Cukur Jambul of Qistina Eisya that was performed on March 15th at the couple's Melawati residence.....

We were the second one from the anak-anak ayam clan to be there after Gina...few minutes later, the rest of the clan made their red carpet appearance each....

Happy moments were neglected..sigh...no flickers of cameras at all, it seems!!! Big thanx to my camera that has been sitting in my handbag..

Only 3 moments were engaged...better than none!!!

Overall, it was a fun occassion, get caught up with the normal clan..not to forget the exchanging of the latest gossip and of course the 'sesi mengumpat' la kan...:)

The movie, which is the second product of KRU Films after the huge success of one of my fav Malay movie, "Cicak-Man", is set to mark its place in the heart of local movie fans.

"Duyung" featuring one of the most Malaysian well-loved-talented comedian, Saiful Apek (Jimmy) pairing with the ever-sweet-lovable Maya Karin(Puteri d Duyung) in this hilarious love story.

"Duyung" is a light-hearted fantasy romantic comedy. The movie revolves around Jimmy, a nature-loving man who lives in a fishing village and spends his time looking after the environment by clearing rubbish. Tembun personal comment, excellent intro, brilliant effects & musical score (thumbs up to KRU)....but pathetic ending!!! Gosh, why must they spoil the overall plot with a disappointing typical Prof Madya A razak final 15 minutes ending!!! unbelievable...to have a summed up like that??

Anyhow, I may suggest you grab a ticket to your nearest cinema, and its a good way to fill up your time and its a good watch tho!

Have u ever sat in front of your laptop for 2 hours doing nothing..none...zero..nil? Well I experienced that scenario last nite when I was scratching my brain dried out to think of a theme for my next so called creative-masterpiece of mine....

After 2 cups of my ordinary black coffee and the kuih vadey ( Indian kuih), I managed to get a glimps of idea...the clock on my orange wall was continously ticking of course, another 2 hours past...finally!!! I managed to came out with this..my best of that nite...sigh... Seriously, I am not that satisfied with my work...however, here goes...

Samuel L. Jackson did an excellent job in portraying Rowland, the heartless, borderline obsessive warrior who intends to kill every Jumper in existence. However, the one who really stole the show was Jamie Bell. He fitted in nicely as Griffin, the Paladin hunter who wants Roland dead. As for Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson, there seemed to be a lack of chemistry between them, disappointingly enough.

All in all, "Jumper" is a mediocre film, but the action and the scenery are a feast for the eyes.

Thursday, Feb 14th , I walked into my office, sat down at my computer in my cute little cubicle, and realized they were something in the air flying to me. I then commenced to feel probably something like I would feel after 4 cups of coffee (if, in fact, I actually drank coffee). heheheh

Then..BOOM!!! I just came to realize that : because its Valentines aka Hari Kekasih (this term just makes me giglle everytime I say it,hehehe) day and tomorrow is just the day that we, the Massod Clan will have a 3days 2nites break sumwhere that I yet to reveal to you guys.. Just wait for the posting ok...muachahaha...

Inhale....exhale...Did someone mention a birthday party? It was on Tuesday nite @ The Concorde Hotel. It was a surprised birthday party for Ju. Filled by the normal clan...it was supposed to be a surprise ONLY to Ju, however it took all of us by surprise as well..mana taknya, the invitation was sent out this morning ok..last minute planned by the planner, Shida...gud job Shida..the party was a blast..

Ok now, activity details..Took photos while waiting for food. Biasa laa kan... Unfortunately, I forgot to take one with the birthday peeps because all the excitement and ho-ha just made me forgot. Besides, bday girl was sitting on the other end of the table. Sigh...Party ended around 1130, had to make a move, since tomorow have to work..around 12 we called the nite off......

Zul paid the bill..(thx Zul) we walked out to the parking lot. We said our goodbye’s and went our separate ways for the night. Last night was awesome, thanks to some friends!!!! muah...

I must say, I have been pretty excited about this upcoming series when it first premiered. Being couple of times to missed a few episodes, today’s marathon on AXN has left me no choice but to give up my normal “coffee session” with the group and my flea market adventure....sigh

Ayoyoyyo, the clock is ticking!!! Its been 4 hours now, and yet I am still in my pyjamas...damn it Heroes...give it a break would you??? Really need one...hahahah
